Google +1 button

Hi, this week we are going to see the Google +1 button. It becomes live in all social sites by this month of 1st June, 2011. Its a big reveal to the Facebook like button. It will hit a big change in Search Engine Result Page (SERP). You can get the Google +1 button script in its official page Google +1 to embed it in your site and blogs.

As, now a days we are seeing that social networking takes a big part of each individuals & major search engines like Google. So, it is almost an inter mediator between users & search engines. If you click the +1 button it will count as one recommended & likes the post. You have to sign in your Google account to recommend the particular post.

+1 button publically gives your stamp of approval. Your +1's can help family, friends, contacts & others on the open web search find the best stuff while you search.
Your +1's are stored in new tab of Google profile. You can maintain your +1 recommendations to the public as well as private.

As per my thoughts the Google +1 button is a great challenge to Facebook likes & Twitter tweets. With in a week of launch itself it becomes popular and its CTR increases up to 20% in SERP's. Refer, this article from Search Engine Watch which explains the effect of CTR in SERP's. Cheer up with Google +1 button and more recommended relevant sites in Google SERP. Have a great week.
